The tour cast of Six The Musical performed live on Blue Peter this week.

Nominated for five Olivier Awards, SIX turns Tudor queens into pop princesses as 500 years of historical heartbreak becomes an hour of 21st century sass.

The Queens took to our TV screens this week to showcase opening number Ex Wives from their official cast recording.

Performing were Lauren Drew as Catherine of Aragon, Jennifer Caldwell as Anne Boleyn, Lauren Byrne as Jane Seymour, Shekinah McFarlane as Anna of Cleves, Jodie Steele as Katherine Howard and Athena Collins as Catherine Parr.

Six The Musical is touring across the UK and Ireland throughout this year and next.

The show – written and composed by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss – has become a huge hit since first premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.

Alongside the tour, Six The Musical is currently playing an extended run in the West End at the Arts Theatre, with performances currently booking until January 2021.

The show is also touring Australia and will open this month (March) on Broadway in New York.
