Watch Tangled: The Musical from Disney Cruise Line online for free

Tangled: The Musical from Disney Cruise Line has been made available to watch online for free.

Hit 2010 animated film Tangled, based on the fairytale Rapunzel, was adapted for the stage by Disney in 2015.

The hour-long production features all the songs from the movie plus three new ones written by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, who worked on the original film.

A previously recorded video of the show features the original cast from the opening on board the Disney Magic of the Disney Cruise Line.

A synopsis of the show, if you’ve not seen the movie, reveals: “Follow Rapunzel’s journey as she escapes the confines of her tower and the clutches of her evil sham of a mother who conceals the truth about Rapunzel’s royal roots.

“Rapunzel and Flynn strike up an unlikely friendship and, when an unexpected romance blossoms between the adventurous pair, together they face down ruffians and thugs. But dare they defy Mother Gothel?”

Three new songs Flower of Gold, Wanted Man and When the Princess Returns join the original songs from the movie including When Will My Life Begin, Mother Knows Best, I’ve Got a Dream and the Oscar-nominated and Grammy winning I See the Light.
