Watch West End Live 2023 online – all the performances
West End Live was back for 2023 this weekend with a host of live performances from stars of the West End and beyond.
This year’s West End Live once again welcomes a whole raft of casts for two days of free musical theatre taking place in the heart of London at Trafalgar Square.
Taking place on 16 and 17 June, the outdoor festival concert features performances from the companies of the biggest shows right now in the West End as well as on tour, plus new musicals in development.

Disney’s Frozen and The Lion King
Opening West end Live were the cast of Frozen perform a medley of hits from the show including For the First Time in Forever and Dangerous to Dream. They were followed by the company of The Lion King singing Circle of Life.
Wicked
Wicked’s leading ladies Alexia Khadime and Lucy St. Louis were next on stage, performing the classic Wizard And I and For Good.
The Wizard of Oz
Transferring from Leicester for a limited run in London this summer, The Wizard of Oz star Georgina Onuorah belted out Over The Rainbow.
Moulin Rouge! The Musical
The West End cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical performed the iconic Lady Marmalade.
Tina – The Tina Turner Musical
In a tribute to the late Tina Turner, the cast of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical performed The Best and Proud Mary.
Crazy For You
Having just opened in London, the cast of the new revival of Crazy For You showcased a huge song and dance number.
Cabaret
The acclaimed revival of Cabaret featured an introduction by Mason Alexander Park as The Emcee before Maude Apatow and the show’s company performed Don’t Tell Mamma.
The Book Of Mormon
The company of Book Of Mormon were in Trafalgar Square for performances of I Believe and Baptize Me.
The Phantom of the Opera
The cast of The Phantom of the Opera showcased its two Christines with performances of Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, All I Ask Of You and Music Of The Night.
Heaters
The cast of Heathers performed a medley of songs including Candy Store and I Say No.
Les Misérables
The cast of Les Miz performed a medley of I Dreamed A Dream, Bring Him Home and One Day More.
Rodger’s & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!
The cast of the new West End revival of Oklahoma! performed I Cain’t Say No and the show’s title song.
Aspects of Love
Another recent West End revival took to the stage next as Jamie Bogyo and Laura Pitt-Pulford performed from Aspects Of Love.
Jersey Boys
The Jersey Boys made a return to the West End stage for 2023 with a mega-medley of iconic hits.
Operation Mincemeat
New musical Operation Mincemeat took us back to 1943 for a performance of God That’s Brilliant.
Mamma Mia!
The West End company of Mamma Mia! performed a medley of classic ABBA songs from the long-running show.
The Choir of Man
The cast of Choir Of Man turned the stage into a bar for their third year in West End Live as they performed a medley of songs.
Six
The Queens of Six were next to hit the stage with a mashup of Haus Of Holbein and Heart Of Stone.
42nd Street
The company of 42nd Street in London showcased an incredible tap number as part of a medley of songs from the show.
A Strange Loop
A Strange Loop composer Michael R. Jackson performed two songs from the show including Inner White Girl.
Ain’t Too Proud
The West End cast of Ain’t Too Proud performed a selection of Temptations classics for the crowd.
We Will Rock You
The cast of We Will Rock You performed Queen’s all time hit Somebody to Love.
Back To The Future
The cast of Back To The Future The Musical performed a medley of songs from the show.
Death Note: The Musical
Ahead of its upcoming debut in the West End, the cast of Death Note: The Musical showcased two songs from the new production.
The Spongebob Musical
Currently on tour ahead of a run in London this summer, The Spongebob Musical performed Chop to the Top, (I Guess) I Miss You and (Just a) Simple Sponge as well as the show’s title song.
