Zach Hawkins to star in Can’t Wait To Leave at Waterloo East Theatre in February

Casting has been announced for Can’t Wait To Leave at Waterloo East Theatre next month.

Written and directed by Stephen Leach in his playwriting debut, the piece runs from 21 – 26 February 2023.

Zach Hawkins (I Am Kevin) will star as Ryan, with Joe Idris-Roberts (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Pinocchio) and Zoey Boyd (Loop, Bodas de Sangre) in supporting voice roles.

Taking place entirely within the uncomfortable setting of a hospital waiting room, Cant Wait To Leave is a furious, unpredictable, and often heart-breaking monologue told by a young, bisexual man grappling with issues of abandonment, exploitation, and identity.

A post-show Q&A hosted by author Tanaka Mhishi will take place after the performance on the 22.
