Big Night Of Musicals 2023 – how to watch online and performances from BBC One show

Big Night Of Musicals has returned to BBC One for 2023 – here’s all you need to know.

Hosted by Jason Manford, the show brings together the biggest productions from the world of theatre for a spectacular celebration.

The event features performances from We Will Rock You The Musical, Wicked, The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical, Hamilton, Disney’s Newsies, Shrek the Musical UK and Ireland tour, Mamma Mia!, Six The Musical, Les Misérables, Ain’t Too Proud – The Life And Times Of The Temptations, The Bodyguard The Musical, and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The King And I.

There is also a special performance from Aspects Of Love, featuring musical theatre star Michael Ball.

Big Night Of Musicals 2023 first aired on BBC One on Saturday, 25 March.

You can watch the show online now via BBC iPlayer here where it is available to stream for free (in the UK).

Alongside the TV broadcast, a radio special is available to listen to on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds, hosted by Samantha Barks and Layton Williams.

Running for the second year, the event was staged by The National Lottery at the AO Arena Manchester on Monday 27 February.

The BBC Radio 2 broadcast will also feature exclusive backstage access and interviews with the stars taking part on the night.
