Bridgerton’s Charithra Chandran to star in Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon in West End

Break-out star of the Netflix drama Bridgerton Charithra Chandran is to appear in a West End run of Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon.

Originally presented at Southwark Playhouse in 2023, where it received multiple 5-star reviews, the show is penned by the talented actor and director Rosie Day.

The one-woman-show will play two performances every Sunday from 17 March for six weeks, concluding its run on 28 April 2024. Tickets are on sale now here.

longside Charithra Chandran, the production is helmed by director Georgie Staight with set and costume design by Jasmine Swan, lighting by Rory Beaton and video design by Dan Light, with Hanna Khogali serving as the associate director.

In the wake of her sister’s unexpected passing, caused bizarrely by a Yorkshire Pudding, a witty teenage outsider finds herself joining a scout group that’s barely hanging on. It’s here that she learns to manoeuvre through the turbulent waves of adolescence, experiencing both triumphs and setbacks.
