Cast announced for premiere of The Sex Party at the The Menier Chocolate Factory

Casting has been announced for the premiere of The Sex Party at the The Menier Chocolate Factory.

Terry Johnson’s new play The production opens on 15 November 2022, with previews from 4 November, and runs until 7 January 2023.

As well as writing, Johnson also directs with a cast made up of Will Barton (Tim), Amanda Ryan (Magdalena), Lisa Dwan (Gilly), John Hopkins (Jake), Timothy Hutton (Jeff), Jason Merrells (Alex), Pooya Mohseni (Lucy), Molly Osborne (Hetty) and Kelly Price (Camilla).

Four couples gather in a suburban London home for an evening of wine, cheese, and more intimate pleasures. Some are curious, some are more familiar, and one is rather unexpected. Thus a promising evening is poised to go beyond anyone’s expectations.

The world première of this play by Terry Johnson similarly promises to surprise, perhaps shock, and most certainly entertain!

The production has design by Tim Shortall, lighting by Ben Ormerod and sound by John Leonard.

The show is part of the new season at the London venue along with Alex Edelman – Just For Us (11 January – 26 February) and the UK première of Jordan Harrison’s Marjorie Prime (9 March – 6 May 2023).
