Full cast announced for Patriots in West End with Tom Hollander

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming West End transfer of Patriots.

Peter Morgan’s new play transfers from The Almeida Theatre to the Noël Coward Theatre from 26 May 2023 with tickets on sale now.

BAFTA-winning actor Tom Hollander (The Night Manager; Travesties) leads the cast as Boris Berezovsky, the ‘kingmaker’ behind Vladimir Putin, with Will Keen (His Dark Materials) as Putin and Luke Thallon (Albion) as Abramovich.

Joining them are Matt Concannon (Assistant/Daniel Kahneman/Russian Captain), Ronald Guttman (Professor Perelman), Sean Kingsley (Voloshin /Nurse), Paul Kynman (Korzhakov/Yeltsin/FSB Boss/Reporter/Bodyguard) and Jessica Temple (Anna Berezovsky/Newscaster/Journalist/Secretary/Pianist) all reprising their roles from the Almeida Theatre run.

Completing the cast are new cast members Josef Davies (Alexander Litvinenko), Ashley Gerlach (Lawyer/Home Office), Howard Gossington (Teacher/Compromised Newscaster), Stefanie Martini (Marina Litvinenko/Nina Berezovsky) and Evelyn Miller (Tatiana/Katya/Judge/Lover). They are joined by understudies Peter Eastland, Lydia Fraser and Matt McClure.

As a new generation of oligarchs fights to seize control, PATRIOTS follows billionaire businessman Boris Berezovsky from the president’s inner circle to public enemy number one.

Written by Peter Morgan (The Crown, Frost/Nixon), the production transfers is directed by the Almeida’s Artistic Director, Rupert Goold with set design by Miriam Buether, co-costume design by Deborah Andrews and Miriam Buether, lighting design by Jack Knowles, movement direction by Polly Bennett, sound design by and composer Adam Cork and casting director Robert Sterne.

Patriots will play at London’s Noël Coward Theatre from 26 May 2023, currently booking through to 19 August 2023.
