Go behind the scenes of SIX The Musical at the Lyric Theatre

Six The Musical has revealed a backstage look at the show at its new home at the Lyric theatre.

The hit musical recently moved from the Arts Theatre to the new venue for a limited socially distanced run with tickets on sale now.

After briefly opening last year before the second lockdown, Six The Musical is set to resume performances at the Lyric Theatre from Friday 21 May 2021.

In this behind the scenes video, we see all the work that went into bringing the show to the stage in these challenging times.

The team at Six said: “We want to give a massive shout out to all the incredible theatre workers and freelancers in the industry for doing such an amazing job in such a challenging year.”

Alongside the video, Six has announced a new limited edition SIX pin badge with 50% of each sale going to the Theatre Artist’s Fund, who are helping theatre workers and freelancers left in need of financial support following the devastating impact of the pandemic.

You can purchase the charity pin online here or donate directly to the Theatre Artists Fund.

With a powerhouse pop score by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, Six The Musical turns Tudor queens into pop princesses as 500 years of historical heartbreak becomes an hour of 21st century sass.

Thanks to word of mouth, Six has grown since its world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017 to its current critically acclaimed run in the West End.

The current run at the Lyric Theatre is currently scheduled to August – before returning to the Arts Theatre later in the year.
