Jennifer Saunders to star in Peter Pan panto at London Palladium

Jennifer Saunders will star in Peter Pan at The London Palladium Pantomime this festive season.

The pantomime will run at the venue for a limited five-week season from Saturday, 9 December 2023 to Sunday, 14 January 2024. Tickets are on sale now.

Absolutely Fabulous star Jennifer Saunders will make her panto debut as Captain Hook in the new production.

She said: “I could not be more delighted to be doing my first panto ever at the Palladium. I am a huge fan of panto and The Palladium always delivers. I wouldn’t want to be in Peter Pan’s tiny soft shoes let me tell you, because I am going to give Hook my all!”

Joining her will be Julian Clary as Seaman Smee, Rob Madge as Tinkerbell, Paul Zerdin as crewmate Starkey, Nigel Havers as Pirate Nigel and Gary Wilmot as Captain Hook’s mother.

Flying into The London Palladium this Christmas, Peter Pan will be the West End’s ultimate pantomime adventure.

Back for an eighth season, The London Palladium pantomime is renowned as the most spectacular show staged in the West End with fabulous sets and costumes, jaw-dropping special effects and all the spectacle and magic you’d expect from the UK’s biggest panto.

Directed by Michael Harrison, the production will feature set design by Mark Walters, costume design by Hugh Durrant, choreography by Karen Bruce, lighting designs by Ben Cracknell, sound designs by Gareth Owen and composition and orchestrations by Gary Hind.

Peter Pan priority booking opens 27 April, with general public booking from 28 April.
