Meet the cast of Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream and see them sing!

Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream launches this Sunday night and here’s your first look at the cast.

Zoe Ball hosts ITV1 and ITVX’s much-anticipated theatrical competition, on a mission to discover two future stars of the West End.

The competition will see contestants compete to step into the vital roles of Sophie and Sky in the beloved film adaptations of the global sensation, Mamma Mia!

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Greek islands, viewers will witness contestants undergo judging and mentoring by industry luminaries, participating in exclusive workshops, masterclasses, and performances, all in pursuit of these coveted roles.

Joining Zoe on this journey are a panel of esteemed judges, including the hilarious comedian and TV personality, Alan Carr, the talented singer-songwriter, Jessie Ware, the award-winning Amber Riley, and the West End star of Frozen, Samantha Barks.

Meet the cast!

In a diverse group, competing to play Sophie we have Desmonda at 27 from Indonesia, Esme, aged 22, hailing from Chester, Leah, a 20-year-old from Redcar, and Maddy, also 20, representing Bolton.

Additionally, we have Maisie, aged 22, with roots in Margate, alongside Stephanie, also 22, who calls St Albans home. Finally, Stevie, aged 22, joins from from Glasgow.

Meanwhile, for the Skys, we have Callum at 22, originally from Oxfordshire, and Craig, 26, proudly representing Perthshire. Darcy, aged 23, hails from Hampshire, while Marcellus, 36, has his roots in High Wycombe.

Owen, aged 25, brings his background from Belfast, and Tobias, also 22, is from Somerset. Lastly, we have Zachkiel, aged 21, who calls London home.

The fourteen contestants will go head to head in a bid to make the spectacular live finale broadcast from a prestigious West End theatre.

Here, two winners will secure the roles of Sophie and Sky in Mamma Mia! and will perform in the 25th-anniversary production at the Novello Theatre.

Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream starts at 6PM on Sunday, 22 October on ITV1 and ITVX.
