New podcast Acting for Others Presents… to feature Judi Dench, David Tennant & more!

New podcast Acting for Others Presents… is to pair up the UK’s most loved actors to support theatre workers in times of need.

From Dame Judi Dench and David Tennant to rising stars Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You) and Olly Alexander (It’s A Sin), the weekly show will help raise funds for the Acting for Others charity.

Samantha Bond will introduce and close each episode with music written by the Ivor Novello award-winning songwriter Dan Gillespie Sells.

This first season will include six weekly episodes featuring two actors from different walks of life, some meeting for the first time others catching up with old friends.

Listeners will hear Olly Alexander reminiscing about running around Judi Dench’s garden to David Tennant talking to Paapa Essiedu about the James Bond rumours – expect to hear everything about their lives and experiences in the industry from their highs, lows and everything in between.

Acting for Others Presents… will be released every Tuesday, with the first episode out on 11 October. You can listen to a first trailer here.
