Snow White release date

The film is currently set to be released in cinemas worldwide on 22 March 2024.

Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a timeless animated classic that marked the studio’s first full-length feature film.

Based on the Grimm Brothers’ fairy tale, the movie follows Snow White, a kind-hearted princess who finds herself in peril when her wicked stepmother, the Queen, becomes jealous of her beauty.

Seeking refuge in a cottage in the woods, Snow White befriends seven lovable dwarfs who help her evade the Queen’s sinister plans.

The new remake will also introduce Andrew Burnap as new character Jonathan while Ansu Kabia will play the Huntsman.

Speaking about taking on the role of Snow White, Rachel Zegler said: “People are making these jokes about ours being the PC Snow White, where it’s like, yeah, it is — because it needed that.

“It’s an 85-year-old cartoon, and our version is a refreshing story about a young woman who has a function beyond ‘Someday My Prince Will Come.'”

Further details on the film’s cast, plus a first trailer, are to be revealed soon.

The movie filmed in and around London in 2022 and 2023.
