Full cast announced for The Devil Wears Prada musical in West End

Full casting has been announced for The Devil Wears Prada musical in the West End!

American actress Vanessa Williams will lead the company of the new production as Miranda Priestly.

Joining her will be Olivier Award winner Matt Henry (Kinky Boots) as Nigel, Georgie Buckland (Shrek the Musical) as Andy and Amy Di Bartolomeo (Six) as Emily.

The cast will also feature James Darch as Christian and Rhys Whitfield as Nate. Debbie Kurup will join the production as the alternate Miranda Priestly in London.

Completing the cast are Maddy Ambus, Gabby Antrobus, Selena Barron, Pamela Blair, Robertina Bonano, Lloyd Davies, Elishia Edwards, Akeem Ellis-Hyman, Elizabeth Fullalove, Jinny Gould, Natasha Heyward, Samuel How, Luke Jackson, Liam Marcellino, Robbie McMillan, Ciro LourencioMeulens, Gabriel Mokake, Theo Papoui, Christopher Parkinson, Eleanor Peach, Ethan Le Phong, Jon Reynolds, Harriet Samuel-Gray, Olivia Saunders, Kayleigh Thadani, Ella Valentine and Tara Yasmin.

Based on the hit movie of the same name, a brand new stage adaptation makes its UK premiere at London’s Dominion Theatre from 24 October 2024.

Before its run in the West End, the show will have a pre-West End season at the Theatre Royal Plymouth from 9 July – 17 August 2024.

The Devil Wears Prada is based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger and the 2006 movie adaption which featured Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. The musical has music by Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub and a book by Kate Wetherhead.

Fresh out of college, aspiring journalist Andy scores a job at the prestigious Runway magazine working for fashion’s most powerful and terrifying icon — editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly.
