The Wizard of Oz, We Will Rock You & Les Miserables will perform on Britain’s Got Talent live shows

A host of West End shows will be performing live on Britain’s Got Talent this week.

ITV have announced a line up of performers for Britain’s Got Talent live show’s which begin on Monday night.

Episodes will air nightly at 8PM on ITV1 and ITVX all week with a special guest performance on each evening.

Stagey treats include the cast of We Will Rock You’s upcoming West End return performing on Tuesday (30 May), featuring Brenda Edwards as Killer Queen and Lee Mead as Khashoggi.

On Friday (2 June), there will be a performance from the upcoming West End revival of The Wizard of Oz which features Diversity’s Ashley Banjo as the Tin Man and Jason Manford as The Cowardly Lion.

And in the grand final of the series on Sunday (4 June), the cast of Les Misérables will perform.

Also performing across the week are Britain’s Got Talent champions Diversity on Monday (29 May), singer James Arthur on Wednesday (31 May) and comedian Axel Blake, last year’s BGT winner (Thursday, 1 June).

The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals will see the top 40 acts whittled down to just 10 for the final.

Eight contestants will perform each evening with two making the final: The first finalist is chosen via public vote and the second finalist will be chosen by the judges.

Britain’s Got Talent airs at 8PM on ITV1 and ITVX from Monday to Friday.
