Here’s a first look at this weekend’s Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream’s opening number!

In the picturesque setting of Greece, the very place that birthed the Mamma Mia! magic, 14 talented performers are vying for the coveted lead roles of Sophie and Sky in the West End rendition of the beloved musical.

This weekend the ITV show opens with a special group number, performing Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!

This week sees the seven Skys face the challenge of convincing judges Alan Carr, Jessie Ware, Samantha Barks and Amber Riley that they have the star quality needed for a leading role in London’s West End.

Following an intensive acting workshop and a series of impressive musical performances, the question remains: who will be signaling distress with an S.O.S as they depart the contest and return to the UK?

Alongside the judges, Judy Craymer, the visionary creator and global producer of Mamma Mia!, will lend her invaluable insight to the judges as they navigate the difficult process of discovering new stars for the West End.

As the competition intensifies, the field will narrow, leading up to an electrifying live grand finale set in the heart of London’s theatre district, where two exceptional talents will emerge victorious.
