Watch new footage from Tina – The Tina Turner Musical in the West End

As Tina – The Tina Turner Musical marks its fifth year in London’s West End, a brand new trailer has been released.

A vibrant production that pays homage to the life and legacy of the legendary Tina Turner, the musical has had eight international productions launched since its debut in 2018.

The current cast is led by Karis Anderson and Elesha Paul Moses, who share the demanding role of Tina. Okezie Morro stars opposite as Ike Turner, while Mark Anderson and Jonathan Carlton bring to life the characters of Phil Spector and Erwin Bach, respectively.

They’re joined by Vanessa Dumatey as Alline Bullock, Irene Myrtle Forrester as GG, Earl Gregory as Richard Bullock, Harry Harrington as Tina’s Manager Roger Davies, Emma Hatton as Ike and Tina’s manager Rhonda Graam, Jairus McClanahan as Tina’s first love Raymond Hill and Carole Stennett as Tina’s mother Zelma.

Since its world premiere in April 2018, the show has shattered Box Office records at the Aldwych Theatre and earned critical acclaim for its portrayal of Turner’s story.

It’s a bittersweet moment for the production as it also serves to honour Tina Turner, who passed away in May 2023, leaving behind a timeless legacy. The musical stands as a tribute to her memory and will be part of the celebrations of what would have been her 84th birthday on 26 November.
