9 to 5 The Musical has landed on London’s West End for 2019 – here’s all you need to know.

From the current West End cast of 9 to 5 The Musical to the latest and best ticket offers, here’s everything about the show.

With a score written by country music icon Dolly Parton, 9 To 5 The Musical is based on the 1980s comedy movie of the same name, which Dolly starred in.

It tells the story of workmates Doralee, Violet and Judy who push back against sexist supervisor Franklin Hart. The Oscar, Grammy and Tony award-nominated score features some of Parton’s biggest hits, including the legendary ‘9 to 5’, as well as original songs written for the show.

Now you can catch the show live in London’s West End in 2019.

The show is currently playing at the Savoy Theatre on the Strand,London, WC2R 0ET. The nearest tubes are Charing Cross/Embankment.

The musical opened on February 17 January 2019 and is currently booking through until April 2020.

It has a running time of 2 hours, 30 minutes with an interval.

Best and Cheapest London tickets

Tickets for 9 to 5 The Musical in the West End are now on public sale. Costs range from £20 to £150.

Performances are Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm with Wednesday & Saturday matinees at 2:30pm.

Day Seats and Rush Tickets

There are tickets offers for both Day Seats and Rush Tickets for performances Monday-Friday. There is a limit of 2 tickets per person.

Day Tickets are available priced at £25 available in person on the day of performances Monday-Friday from the theatre box office at 10AM on a first come, first serve basis.

Alternatively, a limited number of £25 Rush tickets will be available from 10AM, Monday to Fridays in the TodayTix app.

9 to 5 The Musical West End cast 2019

The new cast for West End’s 9 to 5 The Musical has been confirmed, starting performances from September 2.

Chelsea Halfpenny will join in the role of Judy Bernly, replacing Amber Davies. Bonnie Langford, Brian Conley, Caroline Sheen and Natalie McQueen will extend their runs as Roz Keith, Franklin Hart Jnr, Violet Newstead and Doralee Rhodes respectively.

Langford, Sheen and McQueen will appear until 11 January 2020 while Conley will be with the company until 30 November 2019.

From 2 September, the full cast will include include Victoria Anderson, Alexander Bartles, Simon Campbell, Alexander Day, Rhiane Drummond, Demmileigh Foster, Molly-May Gardiner, Llandyll Gove, Ben Irish, Jenny Legg, Natasha Mould, Jon Reynolds, James Royden-Lyley, Giles Surridge, Antoine Thomas-Sturge, Richard Taylor-Woods, Sasha Wareham and Emily Woodford.

9 to 5 The Musical tour

Alongside the West End production, a separate UK tour production will begin this autumn.

The second UK tour of the show, which first played Broadway in 2009, will open at the Alexandra Theatre Birmingham on 6 September 2019.
