Beyoncé reveals music video for new song ‘Spirit’ from The Lion King

Beyoncé has revealed a music video for her new song ‘Spirit’ featured in Disney’s The Lion King remake.

The live action adaption of the animated classic opens in cinemas across the world this weekend.

An all star cast features Beyoncé as Nala with Donald Glover as Simba, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon, while original cast member James Earl Jones reprises his role as Mufasa.

Alongside the original songs from the movie, including award winning Can You Feel the Love Tonight, the remake features new song Spirit performed by Beyoncé.

As the movie hits cinemas, Beyoncé has unveiled a first music video featuring scenes from the movie which you can watch above.

Meanwhile, you can stream the new soundtrack album in full, download or pre-order the CD now from Amazon Music.

Alongside the official motion picture soundtrack, Beyoncé will be releasing an accompanying album The Lion King: The Gift.

The Lion King 2019 UK release date has been confirmed for 19 July 2019.

Meanwhile, a stage adaption of the original film is currently playing on London’s West End and will tour the UK from 2020.
