Cast of Fiver reunite in isolation to perform a song from the musical

The original cast of new British musical Fiver have reunited for a special isolation performance.

The show held its world premiere at Southwark Playhouse last summer following a workshop at Crazy Coqs in 2017.

The cast was made up of Luke Bayer (Jamie New in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), Aoife Clesham (Peter Pan international tour), Alex James Ellison (The Secret Garden), Dan Buckley (Ferris, Eugenius!) and Hiba Elchikhe (Princess Jasmine, Disney’s Aladdin).

And they’ve got back together for a special performance – from isolation, obviously.

The five piece perform For Your Light to Shine from the musical, which features music and lyrics by Alex James Ellison and Tom Lees.

You can watch the performance below…

A synopsis of the show reads: “FIVER follows the story of a humble £5 note as it passes through the hands and pockets of different people in London.

“Often unnoticed and obviously unaware, the fiver is present for significant moments in each person’s life – from an appreciation of their skills as a street performer, the start or end of relationships to the simple realisation that they can afford a bed for the night.”
