Catfish The Musical outdoor concert to play at the Turbine Theatre

An outdoor concert production of Catfish The Musical is to play at the Turbine Theatre.

The new British musical will play for one-night-only on September 19 as part of Turbine Theatre’s open air season.

Catfish has music, lyrics and book by Willy Mukendi and music and lyrics by Joseph Purdue.

A synopsis of the show shares: “After a friendly debate about Old School or New School romance, Jackson is convinced to join the dating app; Anonymous. He accidentally sets his profile to female and matches with Jessica, the extroverted, no-nonsense taking lesbian. Jackson has the power to clear up his honest mistake or play a game…”

The cast will feature Harry Simpson as Jackson, Jamie O’Leary as Alex, Georgia Jade as DD, Jackie Pulford as Mother, Emily Badger as Jessica, Joseph Riley as Will and Olivia Hallett as GIRL #1.

Making up the ensemble are Daniel Steven Walford, Joseph Dennington, Olivia Lawrence, Sophie Hughes, Kingsley De Costa, Zac Hanlon, Tamara Morgan, Laura Vyas, Saskia Marks, Emily Dawson, Bernard Caimoy-Cran and Daniel N’Guessan-Lopez.
