Here’s a first look at Bring It On The Musical’s upcoming London run and UK tour.
Amber Davies and Louis Smith lead the cast of the show, which opens at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, London on Wednesday 8 December 2021, following performances at Peterborough New Theatre. The production will tour the UK from January 2022.
Inspired by the film of the same name, Bring It On The Musical follows cheer-royalty and newly crowned Squad Captain, Campbell, who should be embarking on her most cheertastic senior year at Truman High School.
When she’s forced to move to the neighbouring hard-knock Jackson High, Campbell fears her life is over but an unlikely friendship catapults Campbell back into contention with a powerhouse squad and the fire to achieve the impossible.

Joining Amber and Louis on the cast are Vanessa Fisher (Danielle), Jal Joshua (La Cienega), Georgia Bradshaw (Nautica), Alicia Belgarde (Eva), Chloe Pole (Skylar), Biancha Szynal (Kylar), Samuel Wilson-Freeman (Steven), Marvyn Charles (Twig), Chelsea Hall (Bridget) and Connor Carson (Randall).
Completing the company are Oliver Adam-Reynolds, Paris Green, Sergi Ibanez, Jordan Isaac, Bethany Kate, Gareth Moran, Ayden Morgan, Kenedy Small and Zinzile Tshuma.
The musical features a book by Jeff Whitty with music by Tom Kitt and Lin-Manuel Miranda and lyrics by Miranda and Amanda Green.
The production is directed by Guy Unsworth and choreographed by Fabian Aloise, with set design by Libby Watson, costume design by Susan Kulkarni, lighting design by Matt Daw, sound design by Ross Portway, music supervision by Mark Crossland, musical direction by Sarah Burrell and the dialect coach is Aundrea Fudge. Casting is by Sarah-Jane Price and the casting consultants from the transgender theatre community are Tigger Blaize and Harrison Knights.
