Broadway Grosses 30 June 2024

Not only did Merrily We Roll Along break records, but it also boasted one of the highest average ticket prices for any Broadway musical ever, at $300.44.

This follows the Tony Awards in June, where the production scooped up the award for Best Musical Revival, alongside two further awards for its stars.

Adding to the excitement, the current Broadway revival of Merrily We Roll Along is set to be filmed.

The new production of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s musical originally opened off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop in 2022 before transferring to Broadway in 2023.

The cast features Jonathan Groff as Frank, Daniel Radcliffe as Charley, and Lindsay Mendez as Mary.

All three stars were nominated for Tony Awards for their roles, with Daniel and Jonathan winning in their respective categories, marking their first Tony victories.
