Nicole Scherzinger wants to write her own musical

Nicole Scherzinger has revealed she’d love to write a musical of her own.

Currently starring in a Sunset Boulevard revival in the West End, the Pussycat Dolls star has revealed her dream of penning her own stage show.

Nicole, who has also previously appeared in Cats and lent her voice to Disney’s Moana, shared with WhatsOnStage: “I’m wanting to write my own musical as well. That is a dream of mine.”

And asked if she would appear in it, Nicole quipped: “Honey, would I star in it? Of course! What do you think?”

For now you can catch Nicole at the Savoy Theatre in Jamie Lloyd’s new production of Sunset Boulevard. Tickets are on sale now here.

Nicole Scherzinger stars as Norma Desmond in the musical from Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Haunted by her memories and dreams, movie star Norma Desmond yearns to return to the big screen. A struggling screenwriter who can’t sell his scripts to the Hollywood studios may be her only hope, until their dangerous and compelling relationship leads to disastrous circumstances.

Drenched in champagne and cynicism, Sunset Boulevard scrutinizes the ambitions and frustrations of its characters and their intoxicating need for fame and adoration.

Lord Lloyd Webber said: “Nicole is one of the finest singers I have worked with, and I can’t wait to get started on this exciting show with her and the rest of this brilliant team.”
