Jason Manford, Carley Stenson, Ore Oduba to star in Curtains UK tour

Jason Manford, Carley Stenson and Ore Oduba will lead the cast of the UK tour of musical Curtains.

The Tony Award winning mystery comedy will tour the UK throughout 2019 and 2020.

The cast will star comedian Jason Manford as Detective ‘Frank Cioffi’ while Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba will play Aaron Fox in selected venues (see below).

Also in the cast are Carley Stenson as Georgia Hendriks, Rebecca Lock as Carmen, Samuel Holmes as Christopher Belling, Leah West as Niki Harris and Alan Burkitt as Bobby.

They are joined by Emma Caffrey as Bambi, Adam Rhys-Charles as Daryl Grady, Martin Callaghan as Oscar Shapiro, Minal Petal as Johnny Harmon and Mark Sangster as Sidney.

Completing the ensemble are Kathryn Barnes, Pamela Blair, Charlie Johnson, Kate Ivory Jordan, Robin Kent, Thomas Lee-Kid, Ben Mundy, Gleanne Purcell-Brown and Samuel John-Humphreys.

Curtains follows local detective – and musical theatre fan – Frank Cioffi who finds himself hunting the killer of Jessica Cranshaw, an actress who is murdered on the opening night of her new Broadway musical Robbin’ Hood!.

With the entire cast and crew suspects, Frank must discover the killer whilst giving the show a lifeline.

Curtains features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb with additional lyrics from John Kander and Rupert Holmes. The musical’s book is written by Rupert Holmes, based on the original book and concept by Peter Stone.

The UK tour will be directed by Paul Foster with choreography from Alistair David, musical supervision and arrangements by Sarah Travis set design by David Woodhead, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting by Tim Mitchell, sound by Tom Marshall and casting from Jim Arnold CDG.
