Leave A Light On concert line up

Lambert Jackson Productions has announced a series of live streamed concerts after closure of the West End.

All West End and UK Theatre venues were closed with immediate effect last month (Monday, March 16) until further notice.

Lambert Jackson Productions has said it hopes to “keep actors working” during the shutdown with a series of streamed concerts called Leave A Light On from The Theatre Café.

The 45-minute concerts will take place daily, to help both performers and those in self-isolation. Concerts will take place up to three times a day and cost £7.50 a ticket to watch online.

Lambert Jackson Productions and The Theatre Café said: “We are so excited about this project. This is a really dark time for the theatre world and we want to help wherever we can, as much as possible.

“The idea that people who are self-isolating can help performers who have lost all of their work is a really beautiful thing, and also speaks volumes about our amazing industry and the community it fosters.”

The closure of the West End venues follows government advice amid the ongoing global health situation.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said everyone should avoid gatherings and crowded places, such as pubs, clubs and theatres for at least 12 weeks.
