Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream winners crowned in final results

The winners of Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream have been announced in tonight’s live final results.

Over the past eight weeks, ITV1 and ITVX have brought a unique blend of competition and musical extravaganza to television screens with Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream

The exciting new reality show, filmed against the picturesque backdrop of Greece, where the iconic Mamma Mia! is set, saw contestants competing to play the roles of Sophie and Sky in the West End production of Mamma Mia!

In the live final tonight, the winners were announced as Stevie Doc and Tobias Turley .

The pair are scheduled make their debut West End performance in just seven weeks’ time, on Monday, 29 January 2024. You can book tickets now here.

On her win, Stevie said: “I’m honestly lost for words. This is something I could never have imagined, and I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to even be on the show never mind win it! Thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped me to make this happen!”

Tobias added: “I genuinely have no words, I’m speechless. I feel so grateful to everyone at home who voted for me, and to everyone who has worked on this show for always being so kind to me. This has been the best experience of my life, and I am so thankful, it really means the world.”

It meant Esme Bowdler and Owen Johnston finished the competition as runners up.

Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream first launched on ITV1 back in October.

In a quest to discover fresh faces for the lead roles of Sophie and Sky in the West End production of MAMMA MIA!, the show featured 14 contestants. The talented individuals underwent a series of rigorous challenges, showcasing their skills in singing, dancing, acting, and on-stage chemistry.

Zoe Ball was at the helm of the show, guiding viewers and contestants through this thrilling journey. The competitors faced evaluations from a panel of four superstar judges – the charismatic Alan Carr, the talented Jessie Ware, the accomplished Samantha Barks, and the sensational Amber Riley. Their expertise in various facets of performance arts will be pivotal in scrutinising and mentoring the contestants.

Joining them were Judy Craymer, the creator and global producer of Mamma Mia!, who offered her invaluable insights to the judging panel.

As the weeks progress, contestants were progressively eliminated, leading up to an electrifying live grand-finale in London’s West End. The finale was not only be a celebration of musical theatre but also a decisive moment where two winners will emerge, ready to take on the coveted roles in one of the most beloved musicals.
