Mayflower Supports: Musical theatre stars appear in online charity concert – streaming now
A host of musical theatre stars appear in an online charity concert.
Mayflower Supports is available to stream between August 17 and August 30 after filming at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton.
Those appearing in the concert are Eloise Davies, Jade Davies, Lauren Drew, Vanessa Fisher, Clare Halse, Idriss Kargbo, Alison Langer, Joshua Liburd, Kayleigh McKnight, Gabriel Mokake, Jordan Shaw, Courtney Stapleton and Jodie Steele.
Presented by Paul Taylor-Mills and Sophie Lee, proceeds will be donated to charities Acting For Others, Funds For Freelancers, Applause for Thought and The Black British Theatre Awards.
The concert is available to watch from August 17 online here.
Organiser Aimee Hodnett, said: “Mayflower Supports aims to help raise money for charities offering a lifeline to those affected by COVID-19. Through ticket sales and donations, we hope to contribute to the ongoing support provided by these charities at a time when it is needed most”.
