Further casting announcements are to be made.

Felicity Kendal said: “I am so happy to be revisiting Noises Off and especially at the beautiful Theatre Royal Haymarket.”

Mathew Horne added: “I am utterly and totally thrilled to join the now legendary company and production of this masterpiece of a play. I’m celebrating my return to the West End with sardines!”

Regarded as one of the finest British comedies ever written, Michael Frayn’s acclaimed play unfolds as a riotous double bill—a play within a play. Zooming along at an exhilarating pace, Noises Off follows the on-stage and off-stage escapades of a touring theatre troupe as they navigate their way through the fictitious farce, Nothing On. From the chaotic final rehearsals preceding opening night in Weston-super-Mare to a disastrous matinee in Ashton-under-Lyne, comically observed from backstage, and culminating in their uproariously catastrophic performance in Stockton-on-Tees, this production promises uproarious entertainment at every twist and turn.

Directed by Lindsay Posner, the production has design by Simon Higlett, lighting design by Paul Pyant, sound design by Greg Clarke, composition by Will Stuart, movement and fight direction by Ruth Cooper-Brown, associate direction by George Jibson and casting by Ginny Schiller.

Noises Off is also currently touring the UK with tour dates across the country this autumn.
