Side Show is a musical with music by Henry Krieger and lyrics and book by Bill Russell. Premiering on Broadway in 1997, the story is inspired by the real-life tale of conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton, who rose to fame during the early 20th century.

Side Show is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip whose extraordinary bond brings them stardom but denies them love. The Tony nominated musical follows the sisters’ heart-warming search for affection and acceptance amidst the spectacle of fame.

From its emotionally charged ballads like “Who Will Love Me As I Am?” to its vibrant ensemble numbers, Side Show explores the complexities of human connections, both as conjoined twins and as individuals navigating the world.

Though the original Broadway production had a relatively short run, it garnered critical acclaim and has since enjoyed numerous regional and international revivals.
