Tony Award winner Myles Frost to star as Michael Jackson in MJ musical in West End

Lead casting has been announced for new Michael Jackson musical MJ in the West End.

Currently running on Broadway, the Tony-award winning production will transfer to London in 2024, opening at the Prince Edward Theatre on 6 March.

The musical is created by Tony Award-winning Director / Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage.

Leading the West End production in the title role will be Myles Frost, reprising his Tony-award winning portrayal of Michael Jackson from Broadway.

“Working with Chris has always been amazing,” said Frost. “He is a visionary and knowing that we’re now going into his stomping ground, I’m ready for that ride! I’m super excited to bring this show to the West End and to make this a magical experience for everybody.”

He is one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Now, Michael Jackson’s unique and unparalleled artistry is heading to the West End in the multiple Tony Award®-winning musical MJ.

Centred around the making of his 1992 Dangerous World Tour, MJ goes beyond the singular moves and signature sound of the star, offering a rare look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit that catapulted Jackson into legendary status.
