Here’s a very first look at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella starring Carrie Hope Fletcher.

The brand new production begin performances at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre on 18 August 2021 after postponing its original opening night from July.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella features music from Webber with lyrics by David Zippel and an original story and book by Emerald Fennel.

Teased as a new, modern spin on the all time classic fairytale, Carrie Hope Fletcher was previously confirmed to play the title role of Cinderella.

Further cast includes Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as the Stepmother, Ivano Turco as Prince Sebastian, brother to Prince Charming, Gloria Onitiri as the Godmother and Laura Baldwin and Georgina Castle as the Stepsisters.

The full cast also includes Rebecca Trehearn as the Queen, Georgina Onuorah as Alternate Cinderella, Caleb Roberts as Prince Charming, Sam Robinson as Dorian, Giovanni Spano as Gawain and Vinny Coyle as Arthur.

Ahead of performances resuming you can listen to an an original studio cast album which was recorded during lockdown.

The album features guest vocalists Helen George, Adam Lambert and Todrick Hall.
